Every client who walks through our doors is on a journey. Some are advancing a scientific discovery toward the people who need it. Some are building a company from nothing but an idea and a deadline. Some are working, often quietly and without much fanfare, to make their community stronger.
At Inspire Agency, we’ve learned that the best way to serve those journeys well is to know the terrain. That’s why we serve three distinct industry verticals: Inspire Health, Inspire Growth, and Inspire Purpose. Each represents a different kind of client and ecosystem, a different set of strategic needs, and a different definition of what value and success is to each. But, we take the same approach to each: to genuinely understand each company and organization’s needs and deep purpose before we ever putting pen to paper, and our team stays close as we expertly partner through every phase of strategic work we deliver.
Inspire Health
Healthcare and life sciences companies and organizations are working in industries where the stakes are high, the subject matter is complex and credibility matters. Inspire Health helps those organizations turn innovation into meaningful impact by making complex science, technology and healthcare more human, relatable and compelling. From emerging life science companies and MedTech innovators to hospitals, health systems and established pharmaceutical organizations, we bring strategic communications, storytelling and brand strategy to organizations working to improve how people live and heal.
Our experience spans the healthcare and life sciences landscape. We’ve helped pharmaceutical manufacturers including Catalent, one of the world’s largest contract development and manufacturing organizations, and The Ritedose Corporation, the largest U.S.-based CDMO specializing in sterile blow-fill-seal technology, build visibility, articulate their missions with purpose and bring complex science to life for the audiences that matter most. With VirtuAlly, we highlighted virtual nursing and telesitting programs that help hospitals support their bedside teams around the clock. We’ve supported SHL Medical, a global leader in drug delivery devices, as it expanded its presence in the Charleston area; provided strategic communications and public relations support to U.S. Pharmacopeia at a time when they needed to help their scientists clearly articulate to the media why harvesting blue horseshoe crab blood is important and other critical topics during our time working with them; and strategically worked to examine the brand and messaging for the American Society of Breast Surgeons and provide enhanced messaging and branding for their next phase of growth.
That breadth matters because communicating in healthcare and life sciences requires more than simply understanding the subject matter. It requires knowing how to speak credibly to clinicians, hospital administrators, patients, employees, talent, regulators, patients, association members, media, investors and industry stakeholders—and knowing what each audience needs to hear. Whether we’re developing a press release, shaping executive thought leadership, attract new talent to a new injectables facility from Europe planting roots in the South, preparing a board presentation or building a year-long marketing and communications strategy, Inspire Health is built for this line of work and executes every piece with purpose and passion to inspire.
Inspire Growth
Economic development is about more than attracting investment. It’s about giving companies, talent and entrepreneurs a compelling reason to choose one community over another—and then making sure the story of that opportunity reaches the right audiences. Inspire Growth brings strategic communications, storytelling and media expertise to organizations working to grow industries, attract investment and build stronger economic ecosystems.
Our work with organizations such as SCbio has helped position South Carolina as a destination for life sciences, translating the state’s industry strengths, workforce and innovation ecosystem into compelling narratives for business and industry audiences. We also helped the Maryland Tech Council showcase the state’s growing life sciences and technology sectors through our award-winning “It’s Better Here” initiative, which told the stories of companies that chose Maryland for their operations. And through our work with the Charleston Regional Development Alliance, we helped transform complex regional data into compelling, strategic pieces designed to communicate the region’s value to key audiences.
These experiences have taught us that economic development organizations often have no shortage of data, assets or ambitious goals. What they need is a strategic team that can help them shape and tell a compelling story that connects those pieces and makes the opportunity clear. That’s where Inspire Growth comes in: bridging strategy and execution to help communities articulate what makes them distinctive, communicate where they’re headed and build the visibility needed to turn opportunity into growth that inspires people to come or invest to their city, region or state.
Inspire Purpose
For nonprofits and mission-driven organizations, the stakes are deeply personal. Success isn’t measured simply in market share or revenue, but in lives changed, families strengthened and communities served. Inspire Purpose helps organizations communicate that impact in ways that build connection, trust and action—whether the goal is inspiring a donation, mobilizing volunteers, engaging supporters or simply helping more people understand why the mission matters.
Our work with purpose-driven organizations spans strategy, storytelling, branding, creative campaigns and media relations. For Chosen, a nonprofit helping children heal from trauma through the strengthening of families, we created the “Fill a Stocking, Fill a Soul” holiday campaign, which earned a Gold 2024 MUSE Creative Award for Nonprofit Video and a Silver in the Strategic Program – Video Campaign category. With SC Thrive, we provided communications and media relations support that helped elevate the organization’s work connecting South Carolinians with essential resources and contributed to an official proclamation from Gov. Henry McMaster recognizing its impact. And for the Maryland CASA Association, we provided training for its social media coordinator to help the small team better share with key audiences how they advocate for children in the foster care system.
Purpose doesn’t always live in a standalone nonprofit, either. When The Ritedose Corporation, one of our Inspire Health partners, launched 1,000 Hours of Purpose—a company-wide commitment to dedicating employee time to nonprofits across the Midlands—we brought the same people-centered storytelling approach to communicating that effort. That cross-pollination is part of what makes Inspire Purpose distinctive: we know how to recognize the human story inside an organization, connect it to a larger mission and turn that purpose into communications that inspires people to care and act.
One Team, Coast to Coast
What ties all three service areas together is our people. Inspire operates as a hybrid team by design, bringing together experienced specialists from coast to coast who can work closely with clients regardless of where they’re based.
This approach to having a diverse group of team members from all over the country gives our clients the benefit of a senior team with unique perspectives, experiences and views of the markets where they live and work. It also means we can bring the right people to the right challenge, whether that’s healthcare and life sciences, economic development or purpose-driven work. Different locations don’t change how closely we work. They simply give us a broader view of the world that our clients are trying to reach.
Over the past year, our founder and Chief Inspirer, Juliette Bogus, established Inspire’s Charleston office, creating a dedicated space for local team members to collaborate several days a week and for the agency to host clients, meetings and events. Our headquarters sits inside the Harbor Entrepreneur Center, an incubator built for startups and nonprofits—two of the kinds of organizations we’ve built our business around. We didn’t choose that home by accident. Being surrounded by entrepreneurs, nonprofits and growing organizations keeps us close to the energy, urgency and purpose that drive our work.
Three industry verticals. One national team. Running on purpose. All with a shared belief that the better we understand the people, industries and communities our clients serve, the better we can help clients tell their stories and strategically wrap them in purpose to inspire the world.
